AI Toolchain: A Realistic Mix of Retrieval, Scraping and Orchestration
The model is one link in the chain. Stabilize data sources, retrieval quality and failure fallbacks before upgrading to a bigger model.
The most common AI rework is wiring the model first and discovering the data is unusable later. This list follows data, retrieval, orchestration, generation so each layer can be evaluated and swapped independently without vendor lock-in.

A directory-style reference for building a candidate pool, not a deployment guide.

A vector retrieval layer; validate recall before judging generation quality.
- meilisearch · 深度导读卡 ¥2.9NOASSERTION · Rust · ★59.8k
A reliable keyword baseline; many 'semantic search fails' cases are really weak keyword layers.

Scraping and structured extraction for turning unstructured pages into retrievable fields.

An agent-style workflow angle for evaluating whether multi-step tasks need agents at all.
- MoneyPrinterTurbo · 深度导读卡 ¥4.9MIT · Python · ★138.4k
A content production pipeline example showing how assets, scripting and rendering split.
Prove the data is usable
Before wiring a model, answer: where data comes from, how often it updates, licensing boundaries and cleaning rules. Without these, a stronger model only amplifies noise.
Gate generation with facts
Let the model reorganize stored fields only, forbid unverified revenue, user counts or funding, and scan keywords and duplication before writing to the database.
Prepare a degraded path
Vendor rate limits and outages are normal. Give each call site a timeout, retry cap and no-model fallback so one failing API does not blank the site.
Common pitfalls
Common traps: treating model output as fact, no cost ceiling, logging full prompts and keys, and testing only the success path.
Alternatives
For simple tasks with tidy data, a rule engine plus templates may be steadier and cheaper; models earn value on unstructured input.
